CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

Welcome to the transformative world of Craniosacral Therapy! This gentle non-invasive healing process, some people call it an alternative healing modality, uses the power of touch to release stress, deep-seated trauma and injuries, which can benefit a range of conditions from minor aches and pains to severe chronic ailments.

By bringing balance to the body and mind, Craniosacral Therapy can help you achieve a state of vibrant health and well-being.

What conditions may Craniosacral Therapy help?

  1. anxiety,
  2. stress,
  3. depression,
  4. insomnia,
  5. chronic fatigue syndrome,
  6. headaches,
  7. migraines,
  8. fibromyalgia,
  9. arthritis,
  10. back pain,
  11. scoliosis.
  12. And more can all benefit from this profound therapy.

Clients often experience more resilience, energy, calmness and mental clarity. After a series of treatments many people notice an improvement in their symptoms, experience greater vitality and a sense of well being.

Some experiences are too overwhelming or traumatic to cope with and can remain in your system, locking your body in a ‘fight or flight’ state. The long-term effects of this unresolved trauma can lead to illness and disease. CST works particularly well with trauma by gently facilitating your body and brain to resolve held experiences without the need to revisit the original traumatic incident.

The latest understandings of pain science and neuroplasticity underpin this holistic healing modality. We work to create the feeling of safety that is required for your pain experience to change. Chronic pain can change with education, a down regulation of the fight or flight response and with ‘feeding’ new, safe information to the brain through therapeutic touch (source: Pacific Association of Craniosacral Therapists).

Let us help you live a life free from pain and stress!

Through gentle touch, this therapy can for example help release stress, disturbance, injury, and deep-seated trauma to bring your body and mind back into balance.

Each treatment takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. With the first appointment taking a bit longer in order  to map out your current conditions and expectations. During a therapy session, many patients experience a state of deep relaxation and even fall asleep. And why Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy?

With Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) I have found a beautiful technique to improve people’s quality in life both mentally and physically.

Since 2013 I have been living in different parts of the world with my family and we settled down now in beautiful Queensland.

Having a past as a Yacht-broker and Home-Loan-Expert in the Netherlands, you would not expect me doing what I do right now.

During my child- and adulthood in The Netherlands, I faced several issues with the Western Medical World. Not that I can say the doctors did something wrong, but somehow my conditions did not improve. During our journey from Europe to Asia, Russia, the Middle East and now Australia, I met many teachers from whom I learned different ways of treatment in which I found the healing power I needed myself.

It is my passion to help people finding their way in life and with BCST I have found a beautiful technique to improve people’s quality in life both mentally and physically.

To be able to share this with you, I studied BCST from 2018 until 2020 in Bangalore, India at the Sri Sri School of Healing Arts, followed by advance courses with Heartisan in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and I did additional Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy courses in Brisbane, Australia. Since September 2022 I am a member of the Pacific Asia Craniosacral Therapist association ( PACT).

Things that I enjoy are exploring new cultures, family time, long walks or hikes, sailing (I have been a sailing instructor during my student years).

Tip: make a list of the things you like and you will notice that during the writing your energy level will increase automatically.
